ORDER POLICY

 

PAYMENT


US$ is the required form of currency for all orders and accepted forms of payment are: credit card (VISA or MasterCard), check, or money order. 


PROCESSING


Non-table orders will usually ship within 48 hours(excluding weekends and holidays). Table orders normally ship within 3 business days and require between 5-7 business days for delivery. International orders are shipped on Wednesdays and Friday (excluding holidays). Should an item be out-of-stock you will have the option to cancel the item, change for a different item of equal value or place it on backorder. For any items that you leave on backorder we will provide you with an estimated time of arrival. The item(s) will automatically ship to you when they are available. Any discounts applied to the original order are not applicable to any newly added items. 
 


TABLE SHIPMENTS


All tables are shipped by motor freight Monday-Friday. Due to the size of the truck the freight company may be unable to access certain residential areas. Should you feel that your required destination is such please contact Gilbert Table Tennis Center Customer Service prior to placing your order. Gilbert Table Tennis Center will notify you once your table has been shipped via email and provide you with the (tracking) number. The freight company should contact you to schedule a delivery time with the freight company. 
Should you need to make changes for any reason once the table has been shipped an additional charge will apply. 
Curbside delivery requires you to be present when the table is delivered and assist the driver in removing the table from the truck. Gilbert Table Tennis Center will provide Liftgate Service (a smaller truck specially equipped with a hydraulic lift) to easily get your table to the ground. Should you be unable to assist the driver additional services can be provided by the freight company such as: - Two-Man delivery - if you are physically unable to assist the driver the freight company can send a two man crew - Inside Delivery – if you require assistance transporting your table Please notify Gilbert Table Tennis Center should you require any of the above services, there will be NO help in assembling the table. 
Should you fail to comply with the arranged delivery time, you will be responsible for any additional charges for redelivery and/or storage fees established by the freight company. 
Once the table is removed from the truck and while the driver is still present please make sure to inspect the table for any damage. Table damage must be noted on the Delivery Receipt at the time of delivery to ensure proper credit. If for any reason you suspect damage that is not visible please note "Subject to Inspection" on the delivery receipt. Should the driver not allow you to make this notation please refuse the shipment and contact Gilbert Table Tennis Center. For any concealed table damage found after the delivery you must notify Gilbert Table Tennis Center within five days of delivery to ensure proper credit. If you find your table has concealed damage do not assemble the table. If a table has freight damage and a pick-up by the freight company is required you are responsible for re-packing the table in its original packaging. 
Should you fail to comply with the arranged pickup time and re-packaging, you will be responsible for any additional charges for new pick up and/or other such fees established by the Freight Company and Gilbert Table Tennis Center. 
 


DAMAGED or DEFECTIVE ITEMS


If there is extensive damage to the product packaging upon delivery of your product, Customer MUST REFUSE the shipment from delivery person especially on large items such as Tables. Then please contact Customer Service immediately at 323 933-3751. Once acceptance of a product is taken by the customer it is now the customer’s responsibility to pay for the return of such extensively damaged products for an exchange. If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact Customer Service within 10 days of delivery at 323 933-3751. Please be ready to supply order number from the label on your shipment along with Date Ordered, Name and Address. More information may be required depending on date and products ordered. 
 


WARRANTY


All products have a 30 day warranty against factory defective merchandise with the exception of tables which have a 1 year limited warranty. This warranty does not cover misuse, or customer inflicted damage to a product. Any products that are requested to be assembled such as Blades and Rubber are taken as is unless damage occurs due to shipping. All used products are taken as is. Beyond the warranty parts are available for sale from Gilbert Table Tennis Center for certain products such as tables. 
 


RETURNS


Customer is eligible for a refund on all products purchased only if these items have been returned to Gilbert Table Tennis Center unused, in brand new condition, with original packaging. These product(s) must be sent back to Gilbert Table Tennis Center no later than fifteen (15) days from their receipt by the customer. Proof of purchase and authorization must be made by Gilbert Table Tennis Center via email or phone prior to the return of any and all merchandise. Any returned product must be returned in its original packaging and in saleable condition. Returned goods must be shipped with freight prepaid via US Postal Service. Refunds will not be given for the shipping costs only on the costs of the product or products. If the returned merchandise is found to be factory defective the original shipping charges will be credited to your account. Returns and refunds of new equipment are subject to a 20% restocking fee that can be charged for all returned items, unless that product was damaged or defective upon delivery. 
Our Standard Return policies do not apply to all items. Exceptions to our policies appear below. 
Clothing maybe exchanged in the case of an error in sized ordered but shipping will be charged for the original item shipped, and the new item shipped. Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and care. Clothing must not appear to be worn or damaged in anyway in the eyes of Gilbert Table Tennis Center employees. Gilbert Table Tennis Center is not responsible for customer damage or fading to clothing due to washing. No exchanges may be made for customer inflicted damage. Tables maybe returned but all shipping costs will be charged to the customer as well as a 25% restocking fee. 
Certain items below must be unopened, and in their original packaging for any exchange or return to be processed

Open packages cannot be refunded or exchanged:

  • Balls
  • Rubber
  • Glue
  • Rackets
  • Media products such as DVD's must still be in their original clear shrink wrap packaging
  • Any product which were requested for assembly prior to or after shipment in certain situations. When a request was made for a Gilbert Table Tennis Center employee to assembly products such as custom made Blades and Rubber prior to delivery. Will NOT be refunded
  • Products returned and in the opinion of Gilbert Table Tennis Center that appear to be damaged by the customer will NOT be accepted for return, exchange or refund. A customer requesting the return of the damaged product which was sent to and received by Gilbert Table Tennis Center will require all shipping charges to be charged to the customer for the return of such product or products. Unless arrangements of such products are made in advance and authorized by Gilbert Table Tennis Center.

The above rules and prices are subject to change without prior notice. 
 


TAXES


California residents add sales tax, presently of 8.25%. 
Any and all questions can be answered by Gilbert Table Tennis Center Customer Service. 


Shipping


Non-table orders will usually ship within 48 hours. 


Standard Shipping


Shipping cost is determined by the zone of the zip code that the shipment is going to. The majority of our orders are shipped via DHL. Most in-stock items should arrive on your doorstep 5-8 business days after receipt of your order. Tables and glue can only be shipped Standard. International orders and non-continental US orders can only be shipped Standard. 


Two Business Day Delivery


Two business day delivery ensures your shipment gets to you with two business days. 


Next Business Day Delivery


Next business day delivery ensures your shipment will get to you by the next business day. 


Saturday Delivery


We'll hold orders so they arrive on a Saturday. Only available for certain orders, as indicated on detail product pages. 


Table Shipments


Table prices include curbside delivery shipping charges to most cities in the 48 contiguous United States. Freight companies' rates are higher than average to certain areas of the United States and additional charges may apply. If so you will be notified before your table is shipped.
